Description

The central image of the sculpture “Whirlpool” is a fish emerging out of the water, made in granite. The circular cobblestone surface is delimited with wooden benches, imitating wood branches pulled into the whirlpool. The sculpture “Whirlpool” excellently supplements the well-arranged square situated right next to the Kandava bridge and the old riverbed of Abava. The sculpture was unveiled in January 2012. Its author is Ojārs Feldbergs.
