The lake is a popular fishing site for the residents of vicinity of Tukums and Milzkalne. The lake covers 7 ha. The catch can include roaches, chubs, tenches, breams, pikes, and perches. It must be taken into account that the lake receives large quantities of treated wastewater from Tukums, therefore be careful with eating the fish caught here.
