The lake with the area of 1.3 ha is situated right at the border of Tukums town surrounded by a forest. It is a popular site for relaxation for the townspeople. There are swimming grounds on the lakeshore with a footbridge and marked paths have been set up for the pedestrians, Nordic walkers, and joggers. During the summer season, the lake beach is monitored by lifeguards. The fishermen can try their luck in fishing pikes, roaches, and perches.
