According to a legend, the Cook`s Hill (Pavārkalns) (66 m above the sealevel) in Tukums was the site of Dwedish war canteen during the Swedish-Polish war. Beautiful scenery of Tukums with its church tower opens up from the hill. Just other cook`s hills in latvia, also this is a visually noteworthy place situated at an intersection of ancient roads. Possivly, it was also the site oa an ancient court or others events, or cult site to honour the dead.
