The Vicarage Manor of Kandava was first mentioned in historical sources in 1582. Since then, the Vicarage Manor or the presbytery was provided to Kandava Congregation pastors for the period of service as their accommodation and remuneration.
It is now clear that the vicarage which acquired its classicism shape in the spring of 1835, suffered in the 20th century.
