Tukums Town Festival “Let's Meet in Tukums!” will take place July 18-21!
We will celebrate the County Festival “Let's Meet in Tukums” this summer from July 18 to 21. During the festival we will gather in the Freedom Square to become more familiar with our neighbours and people from the county – we will boast, get acquainted and celebrate together by telling our special stories and creating a joint story of TUKUMS COUNTY.
We will gather also in the City Park to be a part of an exciting and grand festival programme for children and youth. In Durbe open-air stage we will play out “Marriage Fair” tradition into a grand performance “Marriage Fair Again in Tukums” where all choir and dance collectives from the county will come together. The grand performance is staged by the chief leader Zanda Mūrniece and chief conductor Romāns Vanags together with a director Reinis Suhanovs and a script writer Artūrs Dīcis.
The World Rally Championship is going to be an unforgettable event of the festival, having one of Kurzeme sections also in Tukums, therefore during these days we will have a possibility to watch the live competition and meet with sportsmen and to experience many unforgettable moments under the rally sign.
We will celebrate the county festival in many and different events both informative and entertaining also in other parts of the city, but we will invite you to spend Sunday in garden of Jaunmoku Palace.
The festive programme is also expected to include special surprises.
