• Iris Garden of Laimonis Zaķis near Kandava is owned by a selectionist of swordlillies and irises, Laimonis Zaķis, who has devoted more than 30 years to selection. The number of varieties of bulb flowers – irises, swordlillies and others – created by him exceed few hundreds already. The Open Days of this garden begin from 1 June. You can still enjoy blooming rhododendrons

• Lāčupīte Arboretum, also known as the Garden of Wellbeing, has its rhododendrons in full bloom.  The valuable foreign trees, brought here by I. Mednis, grow in the territory of “Igors Mednis Lāčupe Arboretum Plantation” and a Garden of Wellbeing has been created here too with 15 different areas of mood, psychological effect and modalities of use. • Jaunmoku Palace Park was created in the middle of the 19^th century Today the palace is embraced by leafy rose beds, procumbent vines, the orchard ripens apples, pears, plums, cherries and other berries in the sun, the bunches of medicinal herbs and rhododendron plantation smell amazingly – they were gradually planted by noticeable people in Latvia as well as newly-weds who marked their wedding in Jaunmoku Palace. Peony gardens – in full bloom

• "Romju pojenes" is a new peony garden which can be visited since 2022. Currently it boasts with approximately 777 varieties of peonies that will enchant any visitor with the diversity of aroma, colour and shape of the flowers. A scenic garden which the families with children and those who are looking for the most beautiful peonies will appreciate. • Peony garden "Zīļu peonijas" is another place where you can wholeheartedly enjoy the splendour of peonies. There are 1,300 varieties in total, which reveal the diversity of peony flower both in terms of shape and colour. The garden is open for visitors between 6 June and 23 June, every day between 9 am and 8 pm. Book your visit in advance by phone 29211982. Entrance fee EUR 5. • Peony garden "Ķesterciems" in coastal area of Kurzeme boasts with more than 800 peony varieties, with approximately 200 of them now in full bloom. It is possible to buy seedlings. The garden also has several photo corners arranged. The garden is open for visitors during the blooming period between 10 am and 8 pm. • The beauty garden of landscape architect Dace Lukševica is situated at the Veļķu pines. This garden has a wide collection of plants, but the most amazing surprise awaits those who favour hostas because there are 100 of them! • Rose collection garden “Rozītes” in Sēmes county is a cherished dream of Daila and Bruno Turbiņi. This is the third generation which gave in to the passion of rose gardening.
