On the last day of August and first days of September, several events are to take place in the area of Tukums to celebrate the end of the summer and the beginning of the new school year. On Saturday, everyone will be welcomed to the beach, where the Ancient Fire Night will be celebrated, while the town will host the Sport and Health Festival and the end of the Summer School in the Tukums Town Park. On Saturday evening, the locals and visitors of Tukums will have a chance to observe a retro car parade, but on Sunday to celebrate the Knowledge Day at the Jaunmokas Palace; on Monday, the Knowledge Day will be celebrated in the Tukums town. The new week of September will start with the fairytale celebration at the Džūkste Fairytale Museum.
